The app was created for those who would like to have all the information in one place, to make booking retreats easier and more friendly, and for those who would like to explore new kinds of retreat adventures.
The project was born to encourage those who explore new places, people, and activities. To help them to choose the best-added value vacation.
The problem
Nowadays, people would like to have a vacation with value. Travelers are often overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information available online.
Planning a trip involves extensive research, from comparing prices to reading reviews and checking availability. This can be time-consuming and frustrating, especially for those with busy schedules.
Comparing various travel options, such as hotels, flights, and tours, can be cumbersome. The lack of a unified platform to view and compare all options adds to the complexity.
UX Research
After examining the leading marketplace apps like Airbnb, Selina, booking, and Tripadvisor, I offered vacation and experience items to my users while giving them a high value. In my usability research plan, I understood the most engaging features and call for action to make my service the highest conversion possible.

Understanding User’s Needs
To fully define the user's needs and desires, I conducted interviews with potential users. In these interviews, I have tried to understand people's main pain points while searching for retreats and added-value vacations. Based on the insights from my research, I came up with personas that best represent the users I'm designing the app to.

User Interface Design

Screens
from Wireframes to Design

01
Splash and Welcome
The splash screen shows the logo and the colors and gives the user a starter of the tone of voice of the product. It aims to welcome the user, so he can feel the vibes and energy I would like the app gives, as well as an invitation to explore the product.
The welcome page should reveal and lead the user to take a deeper look at the retreats so he can easily find what he is looking for, or expose the user to a retreat he didn’t think about that might be relevant for him.

02
Home page
The homepage has a big image banner at the top of the screen, with a search bar and a CTA button on top of it.
The homepage offers simple navigation by cards of a specific retreat, or by retreat type that navigates the user to a map page, or by searching.
The retreat cards display the main information the user needs to know, in an organized and simple way. by typing on a specific card the user will be navigated to the item page, by typing the search bar, CTA button, or view all button, the user will be navigated to the map page.

03
Map
The map page is intuitive and clean, by clicking a pin it displays relevant information such as type of the retreat, price, location, and rating. The map shows the relevant retreat pins according to the user choice, in an interactive and engaging display.
The user can tap on a specific label category and see more than one category at the same time.
One of the main goals of this screen was to display information that stands out while simultaneously visually appealing, as well as to allow the users and visitors to find their way on the map, use it with ease, and enjoy looking at it.

04
Item page
The item screen provides all the information the user would like to know about, in addition to the information displayed on the cards, like description, instructors, accommodation, reviews, and transactions, as well as a calendar button.
It aims to give the user the trust he needs so he can book easily the retreat that fits him the most.

05
Calendar and Booking
The calendar screen displays the events of the next retreat. You can choose to arrive before and after the retreat begins, and you will see the retreat dates on a border on top of the calendar.
If the date fits you, you can skip the calendar and book the retreat.
